The Steam Trains and Steam Ships Tours are best done over three days - but may be varied according to personal preference and timetables.

Steam Trains Tour

Day 1. Travel north - taking in the famous Forth Railway Bridge before driving West to travel on the Bo'ness/Kineill Railway.  Thereafter drive North to spend the night at Blair Atholl.

Day 2. Drive north to Aviemore to travel on the Stathspey Railway before driving to Fort William.

Day 3. Travel on the Jacobite Train from Fort William to Mallaig. We then return to Edinburgh - though for those travelling further afield there is always the option of a Sleeper Train return from Fort William to London.

Steam Ships Tour

The ship tour is based around the Paddle Steamer Waverley - the last Sea Going paddle steamer in the World - and the Steam Ship Sir Walter Scott at Loch Katrine. Timetables for both vessels can vary so please contact us with your availability and requests and we will be happy to tailor a one or two day tour.

Please contact us to book either private guided tour.
