As a couple we have always explored and sought out the special places... as a partnership we would like to share with you our passion and pride in this beautiful country and be your guides on a private tour of Scotland.

This will be more than just a Scottish guided tour... but instead an unforgettable Scottish experience.

Helen Fraser - Scottish tour guide

About Helen Fraser

My name is Helen Fraser. I am a native Scot and have lived, studied and worked in Edinburgh for many years. I have always enjoyed exploring Scotland and been interested in its history and culture. In addition I have also loved discovering delightful places to eat.

Helen Fraser - Personal guided tours in Scotland

Increasingly I felt I would like to share my "special places" and my knowledge of Scotland with both visitors and locals, as a private tour guide. I am now joined by my husband Robert who is equally as enthusiastic and knowledgable about Scotland and can bring his individual expertise and unique knowledge to the guided tours.

Robert Fraser - private tour guide in Scotland

About Robert Fraser

My name is Robert Macfarlane Fraser. I am Scottish and can trace my ancestry back to The Frasers of Lovat, from Stratherrick near Inverness. Together with my wife, Helen, I have lived, worked and studied in Edinburgh for many years.

I love the beautiful Scottish landscape - both from the ground and from the air - having held a Private Pilots' License for many years. One of my great loves is Scottish Aviation, its history and everything associated with it.

In addition to my passion for flying I also have a life-long love and fascination for Scottish history, culture, whisky, ships and trains.

Famous Scottish ships we can visit include The Waverley - the last Sea Going Paddle Steamer in the world - and the Sir Walter Scott which sails on beautiful Loch Katrine. Wonderful train journeys we can experience include The Strathspey Steam railway, the Boness and Kinneill railway and the world famous Jacobite Steam Train - described as "one of the world's greatest railway journeys".

Like Helen, I too would like to share my love of Scotland and help you discover its wonderful beauty and fascinating past and present and give you... an unforgettable Scottish experience.
