Travel north towards the grandeur and beauty of Perthshire. On this day tour we would stop at the Hermitage which is a beautiful waterfall admired by tourists since the days of "The Grand Scottish Tour" in the 1800s.

Then on to Pitlochry, a typical Highland town famous for its fish ladder, theatre and distilleries and beyond to magnificent Blair Castle, ancient seat of The Dukes of Atholl and its beautiful Hercules gardens.

We would have lunch at the delightful Killiecrankie House Hotel which in the 1800s was built as a residence for the local minister but is now a beautiful country house hotel set in the magnificent surroundings of The Pass of Killiecrankie.

If time we would, of course, have to fit in some shopping at The House of Bruar.... a most unusual shopping experience.
