Blair Castle, a potential stopping point
Personalised tours and flexible tour options

In addition to my main tour I am happy to provide alternative suggestions if you would like to see other attractions in Edinburgh or beyond. I am delighted to accommodate any requests you might have and to discuss and design a tour around your requirements. Please feel free to contact me and tell me the things you are interested in and would like to see, e.g. mainly scenery, castles, distilleries, shopping or a combination - and I will do the rest -  always including a beautiful Afternoon tea and guaranteeing a"truly unforgettable Scottish experience!"

In Edinburgh itself there are numerous options ; for example you might wish to be driven around Holyrood Park and feed the swans at Duddingston Loch or drive around the extinct volcano that is Arthurs Seat and admire the breathtaking views of Edinburgh from there. The Palace of Holyrood house, The Scottish Parliament Building and Calton Hill are all popular alternative venues that can easily be incorporated into a tour but there are many others.

Out with Edinburgh, previous visitors have chosen to visit South Queensferry and admire the grandeur of the Forth Rail Bridge at close quarters or visit the Hawes Inn where Robert Louis Stevenson wrote part of his novel Kidnapped.

If you wished to travel northwards then we would cross over the Forth Rail Bridge and pass pretty Loch Leven where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and before long reach the Fair City of Perth, sitting on the banks of the River Tay. Depending on your tastes and interests we could stay around this area and visit, for example, Scone Palace where the Scottish Kings were crowned or keep going northwards up the A9 and pause perhaps at The Hermitage - one of Scotland's oldest tourist attractions which for 200 years has been a stopping point on the grand Scottish tour. Soon we become spoiled for choice and and there are many places to tempt us at Dunkeld and Birnam - or you might prefer to travel on to Pitlochry with its Festival Theatre, Fish Ladder and close proximity to the Queens View and Blair Castle. If shopping is required then a visit to the House of Bruar is a must as it is considered to be" The Harrods of the North" This route will give you the chance to see some of our spectacular Scottish mountains and rivers.

Forth Road BridgeTraveling from Edinburgh in a different direction Peebles is another favourite destination. The route there takes us through beautiful rolling Borders countryside to this bustling market town with lots of interesting shops and character. Here you can admire the beautiful River Tweed  and visit nearby Neidpath Castle or Kailzie or Dawyck Gardens. Traquair House - the oldest continually inhabited house in Scotland  with its own working 18th century brewery and historic associations with Mary Queen of Scots and the Jacobites is also nearby.

These are only a few of the many options which are available. Please feel free to contact me and tell me the kind of things you would like to see and do and I will do the rest! (All tours are exclusive and times and costs vary).

Afternoon Tea Tours will then provide you with "memories of a truly unforgettable Scottish experience." Please contact me to request a personal itinerary.
